As the COVID-19 threat continues, we experience several challenges in our daily life. Sometimes these challenges are frustrating but in the meantime it offers new opportunities and horizons. Conferences, symposiums, workshops have been affected in this period leading to a paradigm shift. Even several important scientific gatherings are going online which is enabling higher attendance than conventional ones.
In parallel with these developments, 5. International Anatolian Energy Symposium (AES 2021) will be held solely online during March 24-26, 2021. Please find the below recent updates regarding with the symposium.
Important Changes in AES 2021
Whether oral or poster, all the presentations will be delivered to the audience (conference attendees) online through Zoom software.
The due date for the full paper submission is November 6, 2020. In order not to delay the selection of manuscripts for possible publication in supporting journals please submit your manuscripts ASAP.
As the symposium will be online, the presenters of the accepted manuscripts are asked to prepare 10 minute of presentation.
The audience will watch the presentations via an online meeting tool (Zoom, Microsoft Teams etc.). At the end of presentations, there will be 5 minutes of live Q&A session for each presentation
Accepted poster presentations will be made online during the symposium, as well. Poster presentation is expected to be limited to 10 pages and the presentation time should not exceed 10 minutes including Q&A session.
After the peer review process, all papers and posters will be published in the Conference Proceedings book.
In addition, some of manuscripts selected by the scientific committee will be suggested for publication after the conference in Engineer and Machinery (Published by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers), Turkish Journal of Electromechanics & Energy, and Takvim-i Vekayi journals.
